Holy cow! I have been a fan of F-Zero, the premier future-racing video game in existence, since it's introduction with the SNES system as well as version 2 - F-Zero X - and I guess I fancied myself a bit of an expert at the game. But man! The latest version of it for GameCube is ridiculously fast and intense. First day I played GX, I laughed most of the time at how difficult it really was to just finish a race! But nonetheless, it was apparent that Nintendo teaming up with Sega to create this new version was a magical combination: the game is genius. I have simply never seen a race game with better graphics and sound, and I don't think there is any other race game anywhere near the speed of this one. The high velocity of the game coupled with the extreme graphics displayed at 60 fps makes for intense gameplay. You really can't blame anyone but yourself for crashing or flying off the track, as the GameCube let's you see everything that is happening in exquisite detail. But hey, don't take my word for it, listen to the overpaid nerdy game review experts.
