I know, let's be honest, MegaMan 1, 2, 3, and 4 were more or less the same game with different names. This is true. But, in the MegaMan series, that really didn't matter. You kept wanting more, and you got it with each new sequel. MegaMan 3 boasted some better graphics applications than the previous two games, which was great, and since the list of potential bosses to beat is limitless, MegaMan 4 was sure to come soon. And it did. I love all MegaMan games for NES, hands down.
