Welcome to Nino Batista's Music Archive. This is the online catalog, if you will, of almost every recording that bassist/guitarist/vocalist/songwriter Nino Batista has been involved in since about 1995. Some bands/projects are still ongoing, others defunct. Most all songs are available for download* (MP3). More songs are regularly added as they become available. This site was not created because anyone cares, but because Nino realized his catalog was getting too large to remember off hand. Here you'll find almost every rough take, live show track, studio demo, homemade demo and final studio cut that Nino was a part of; from instrumentalist to arranger, vocalist to engineer/producer, it's just about all here. All tracks are copyright by their respective songwriters, Nino or otherwise, are NOT considered "stock" or royalty free music, and are NOT to be utilized for commerical use and/or for profit. Any violations or infringements of copyrights will be prosecuted. For full CD's of any of these bands/projects' music, please contact me about purchasing one. This site is current as of May 2005 and will be updated as new recordings become available!
* Note: If MP3's are not available on all tracks, it is because there would be a conflict in having these available for free when the respective band/project is currently active and promoting their material. I'll usually post a link to that band/project's website so you can hear any MP3's offered there. Unfortunately, many recordings were not archived, lost, or are still hidden on cassette tapes in boxes somewhere, well before this website was developed. As such, it is estimated that some 30+ recordings are still missing. If you know of any recordings that Nino has been a part of that is not on here, please email me and get me that file! (Please note that there are almost countless live Drop Trio recordings that Nino performed on during his tenure in the band. Those are to be acquired and cataloged soon.)
